Everything from foley footsteps to final mix
Implosion is a passion made short movie on 32 minutes with the highest of quality in mind. A soundtrack that was to deal with the protagonist newfound telekinetic powers in a phase of her life where she meets resistance in every corner.
Being in charge of everything audio-related from the smallest footstep to the full mix has been a daunting but fruitful task, giving me the ability to let ambience flow seamlessly into sounddesign and further into the music of the next track. As with all movies there were noisy dialogue recordings that even had to be solved with ADR or extensive RX7 cleanup.
I used Reaper for the whole project, feeling I have entered new territory, where the industry standard leans to Pro Tools for post production, I insisted making everything work with Reaper
